Capture the JOY of Summer in a Traveler's Notebook
Summer is a time of joy, of relaxed play, of exploration. We have an opportunity to get outside, to be in nature, to enjoy the world around us. We travel. We explore places local and afar. We shed the rigidity of the academic year, the busyness of every day life. And we create space for possibility, for new experiences, for coincidence.
The days are longer. The air is sweeter. There is life blooming all around us.
Summer can also be a time of immense creativity. The change in light brings new life to our photos and to the experiences we capture. The longer days give us opportunity to enjoy a sunrise, to lounge on a lazy afternoon, to watch the sunset and appreciate the wonder of our world. Nights are colorful. Alive with the sounds and the songs of summer.
And we rest. We adventure. We smile more.
Little Summer JOY is a course about capturing the best parts of this season. With tools, tips, and techniques you can use to bring the essence of summer to life. We explore different techniques, photo ideas, and how we can invite joy into our lives.
This paid course is a compliment to our free #LittleSummerJOY blog series that runs live July 1 - August 15th, 2016. This course includes video lessons, prompts, example albums, and specific techniques you can use to create a gorgeous memory keeping album of your summer.
The course also digs deeper into joy with complimentary further reading and discussion topics. It is a passionate, open exploration of joy and summer and what you can bring to your life, and your album, in summer.
After years of storing photos in boxes, Julie discovered memory keeping – and Project Life – in 2010.
And it was love at first click.
Julie cultivated this hobby-turned-passion as a single co-habitating professional working lady in 2010, as an engaged + married lady in 2011, and truly fell for it – head over heels – when she became a mom in 2012.
What she learned about herself through seeing the change her my albums, pictures, and stories in those years was amazing. Truly, a gift. She is incredibly passionate about sharing her story as a mom, as a sister, a daughter, as an advocate, and as a lady who likes her iPhone.
For Julie, every stage in life is worth celebrating, even the hard stuff, and she is here to help you see the beauty of your story using photos + words. You can find Julie on her website, on Instagram, and on Twitter.
